Business Permit (Mayor's Permit)

Business

A license issued by the city or municipal government allowing a business to legally operate within its jurisdiction, also called the mayor's permit. It usually requires prior documents like DTI or SEC registration, barangay clearance, a lease or land title, and payment of local business taxes and fees. It must be renewed every year, typically within the first month, with penalties for late renewal. Inspections for fire safety, sanitation, and zoning may be part of the process. Requirements vary by locality. Fees, requirements, and deadlines are subject to the latest rules/guidelines.
