Education
The basic education system in the Philippines that includes Kindergarten plus 12 years of schooling: six years of elementary, four years of junior high, and two years of senior high school. It was designed to make Philippine education comparable to international standards and to better prepare students for college, work, or entrepreneurship. Senior high adds tracks and strands that let students specialize. The added years aimed to give graduates more skills before entering the workforce. Curriculum and implementation details are subject to the latest rules/guidelines.
