The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, the government agency overseeing technical-vocational education and training in the Philippines. It offers and accredits courses in fields like welding, cooking, caregiving, automotive, IT, and more, many of them free or scholarship-funded. Graduates can earn National Certificates (NC) after passing competency assessments, which are recognized by employers here and abroad. TESDA training centers, partner schools, and online courses provide these programs. It is a common path to employable skills without a four-year degree.
