OEC (Overseas Employment Certificate)
OFW
Also called the exit clearance, the Overseas Employment Certificate is a document proving that an OFW is a legally documented worker with a verified employer and job abroad. It serves as an exit pass at Philippine airports and exempts holders from travel tax and airport terminal fee. Returning workers going back to the same employer can often process it online through the DMW's system. It is tied to protecting workers and confirming their legitimate deployment. It is generally required each time an OFW leaves for work. Processing rules are subject to the latest rules/guidelines.
