The Philippine Identification System ID, a single official ID for Filipino citizens and resident aliens that consolidates identity information under one number, the PhilSys Number (PSN). Registration is free and captures personal and biometric data. It can be used as valid proof of identity for many government and private transactions, reducing the need for multiple IDs. Cardholders may receive a physical card or a digital version. It is meant to simplify verification for banking, benefits, and services. Rollout, uses, and formats are subject to the latest rules/guidelines.
