The national government agency in charge of labor and employment policy in the Philippines. DOLE sets and enforces labor standards, handles workplace safety, assists in labor disputes, and issues guidelines on wages, contracting, and employee benefits. Workers can file complaints or seek assistance through DOLE regional offices and its Single Entry Approach (SEnA) for quick dispute resolution. It also oversees programs for employment, training, and OFW-related concerns together with other agencies. Its rules and issuances are subject to the latest rules/guidelines.
