Final Pay
Employment
The sum of all wages and monetary benefits due to an employee whose employment has ended, whether by resignation, termination, or end of contract. It typically includes the last unpaid salary, pro-rated 13th month pay, unused leave conversions if applicable, and any other amounts owed, minus lawful deductions. DOLE guidance generally directs employers to release final pay within a set period, commonly 30 days from separation, unless a different arrangement applies. It is sometimes used interchangeably with back pay. Timelines are subject to the latest rules/guidelines.
